Mains: choose one
Slow braised pork hock, on kumara mash, watercress and an apple, carrot salad and pan jus (GF)
“Pork and Puha”  When the Maori people gathered in masses, often the easiest way to feed everyone, was what became known as the 'boil up '(no fancy French names here...). This often consisted of pork and puha/watercress. Inspired by this, we know our version will simply 'wow you'.

Roasted Canterbury lamb rump on roasted root vegetables, with feta and crushed herbed peas
(GF)
“The Sunday Roast”  It has always been a great tradition for NZ families to gather and eat together on Sundays and the common fare was roast lamb. Here is ours, a whole mini roast, tied and cooked just they way we all remember it.

Char-grilled Angus ribeye, on bubble and squeak hash, flat mushroom and pickled beetroot slaw
(GF)
Weekend BBQ”   Kiwis often gather with friends and family in summer to eat, drink and play. Inevitably the fare is a massive shared BBQ. The men finally takea turn to cook and the result is lots of char-grilled meat with lashings of flavour. Enjoy our succulent steak, barbecued, Kiwi style.

Manuka smoked chicken filo, with cranberry cream cheese and local steamed vegetables
“Hangi Inspired”  The famous Maori hangi, or earth oven, creates a unique flavour somewhere between smoked and steamed and is full of earthy goodness. Here's our take – inspired by the world famous Hangi.

Baked herb crusted hapuka, homemade chips, with a fennel salad and shrimp sauce
“Fish 'n Chips”   In the Land Of The Long White Cloud, this is our most popular takeaway food. Fish 'n chips has fed almost every family in the country many, many times.      Blessed by the surrounding oceans, we have jazzed it up for you and hope you enjoy the wonders of the Pacific on a plate.

Roasted beetroot and baby spinach risotto, with herb, feta and crispy shallot salad
(V,GF)
“The Backyard Garden”  Every NZ home once had its own vegetable garden, with a bountiful supply of fresh veges and the wonderful preserves that our mothers made from them. This gem of a risotto uses the best of local seasonal produce to give you a unique taste explosion.
Desserts:choose one
Mini pavlova with kiwifruit couli and fresh cream (GF)
The Australians may claim it, but we all know who did it first. Aotearoa, the true home of the pavlova!

White, dark and milk chocolate mousse with sauce anglaise
Hats off to the best and freshest milk in the world, because it makes the best chocolate mousse too!

Sticky date pudding, with toffee sauce, and ANZAC biscuit ice-cream
We don't like to admit it, but we really do love our Australian brothers. We have fought and died together many times to protect our wonderful countries. This is our small salute to the ANZACs, the worlds bravest soldiers (in our eyes anyway!).

Apple and hazelnut crumble with vanilla cream
Just like Mum used to make.
