Join us for our annual Spring Festival to celebrate all the baby animals at Willowbank!

** if the weather is cold or wet, some activities may be cancelled**

Daily:

calf feeding 10.30 & 1.30

lamb feeding 10.45am & 1.45pm

petting area 10.30-2.30pm

fun games and activities around the farm area for kids

Animal FeedingBuy farmyard food, bird food, eel food and fish food to hand-feed the animals and birds.

Cost: $3 per bag, $4 per cup

Lemur Encounter

This is a great opportunity to get up close to these amazing animals as you enter their enclosure and help the keeper feed the lemurs their lunch. You will learn lots about the lemurs’ natural habitat and behaviour whilst interacting and taking photos with these special primates.

  • Daily at 1.30pm
  • Encounter lasts approx. 20 minutes
  • Maximum of 6 people per encounter
  • Children 6 – 9 years must have 1 supervising adult per 2 children
  • Children 10 – 14 years must have 1 supervising adult per 4 children
  • Cost: $30 per adult and $15 per child (in addition to entry)
  • Accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible

Junior Keeper

For children aged 10-14 years who love animals!

School holidays between 10.30am—2.30pm

A behind the scenes experience into life as a Keeper.  Work alongside one of our keepers to help with the feeding, watering of our animals and birds and cleaning their enclosures.  Be ready to have heaps of fun in a very hands-on way.

Cost: $70 per child, includes lunch and a Willowbank hat

Donkey Rides (temporarily suspended)

From 11am until 3pm on weekends and school holidays, weather permitting.

Maximum height is 1.2m

Cost: $3.50 per ride

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Guided Tours

An informative guided tour around our native area including kea, kiwi etc.

  • 45 minutes
  • Cost: $11 per adult, $5 per child (in addition to entry)
