The Dining Experience
Willowbank provides a unique restaurant dining experience in Christchurch, with wonderful ambience and the unique surroundings of the reserve. You and your family can enjoy sitting in front of the fire in winter while watching deer grazing outside the windows. Our Chefs focus on bringing you the very best of New Zealand cuisine.
Relax and enjoy the cafe, bar and restaurant experience before or after exploring the reserve.
The restaurant/cafe and Bar is open from 10am to 5pm daily or later by arrangement for group bookings.
Our dining facilities are open 364 days. We are closed Christmas Day and on New Year's Eve from 5pm.

Breakfast - Saturdays and Sundays
Enjoy breakfast – 9am – 11.30am in a wild setting.
Then take a stroll through a whole new world at Willowbank Wildlife Reserve.
Breakfasts range from a Farmers big brunch to waffles and pancakes that the kids will love. There is fruit & muesli, eggs benedict, buttermilk pancakes covered with bacon, banana & maple syrup and sautéed mushrooms. There is a special menu for the kids with all their favourites. Yum

Lunch
Our restaurant is open for lunch 7 days a week for both individuals and groups. We serve a seasonal menu, which changes regularly. Lunch prices do not include entry to the park.

Dinner

Combine dinner with a guided walk through the Wildlife Reserve for a unique New Zealand experience. Compliment your meal with some of New Zealand's finest wines and beers.
